my twins are 21months old.
they are true monsters disguised as cutyful blond girls to fool anybody who doesn't know any better.
they both have learned how to take any article of clothing off (buttons, zippers - bring it on). and they take their diapers off any flipping chance that get, after which they proceed to smear the poop on crib, walls, carpet. as i reprimand htem verbally, one of them sneaks off to get a kitchen towel to help me with the mess (there goes another kitchen towel).
Lexy is into shoving everything up her nose - she really tried to shove a penny, but was unsuccessful. she did seek my help...
Hailey is adamant about getting all the DVDs off the shelf.
the two of them, it seems like, conspire against me.
they hide (well, so they think)
they open drawers to use them as step stools.
they are so mean to each other, yet they are so sweet to each other.
each one of them always wants to share with her sister, even though she wants to take it away the next minute.
Hailey has strep throat (sp?) and is even more attached to me now, even though she is getting better. she also has an ear infection. so she wants mommy all the time, which is fine...  ....but i feel so guilty because Lexy is getting a bit less attention.
i have been getting no sleep and i am so tired...
i walked into their room to leave some toys in there. i heard them breathing.  i just stayed in their room for a while listening to them breath. i gently touched their faces. it felt so overwhelming that i cant even  explain it. they are so precious.

i am so content with being tired right now. i am actually grateful. i am tires because of them. i am tired because they are so active and full of life and healthy (the strep throat and ear infection aside...)
i love them so very much.........
