Short and Sweet!

So just thought that I would share with you all that just now, Jan. 24th 4:15 pm I was standing in my kitchen making dinner for this evening with my most precious Luke.  As I turned to my sink I noticed the weather and the sky outside my windows and stopped just for a moment.  In that split moment I can't believe how much entered my mind and how happy I was.  I am so thankful that I get to be a stay home mom, that I have a beautiful home, the most amazing little man, and....how much I might want in life; but how much I already have but forget to see.  I am so thankful that I have the hardest working husband that doesn't make me work and supports our family.  Thank you for awesome friends, great conversation, and all my girlies here on CafeMom.

Jan. 24, 2008 at 7:38 PM That's just so cool, when that happens, isn't it? I've started a "gratitude journal" to keep track of just that very feeling. Every day, I force myself to sit down and think about all that I have to be thankful for.

It is so surreal when that happens! Sometimes I will just stop and say "I am so lucky, and I am so blessed to of brought this LIFE into our family" ... I think about life and how special it really is. How at any given time I may not be here so I need to treasure it with all of my heart, even though it can be hard and challenging sometimes, I never want to take anything for granted!
