The cruelty of humanity.......

   I was very saddened and shocked by the death of Heath Ledger.  Not so much because he was a Hollywood star but because I feel that when anyone goes before their time especially when it is such a horriable accident that it is truly sad.

Heath was a very  talented man who chose to entertain people for a living.  Unfortunately, the media is sticking him with the stigma of being the star of Brokeback Mountain.  Now don't get me wrong, I liked Brokeback....it was a great movie, but not one of his best.  He received a lot of negitivity from people who are nothing more than homophobic because he chose to make a film that was different.  Had this movie been made 10 years ago his career would have been over. 

I have been reading blogs out there about his death that just make my skin crawl.  People are saying the cruelist things about a man they did not even know.  I do not wish to repeat what is being said but it is all about homosexuality and him getting what he deserves.  It just saddens me that our society can be so cruel about someone who just lost their life.  

In my perfect world everyone would honor the inherent worth and dignity of others.............

They act as if they are so perfect and untouchable and they are the very people that have more skeletons in their closet and they are talking all that mess when you never know what tomorrow brings.  Don't worry every dog has his day, one day they will pay for all the garbage they are doing and talking. I say they are ignorant, envious people that have notthing to do.I feel so bad for that gentlemen, no telling what he was going through or what really happened to him, he had so much to give, I truly feel bad and I'm sorry you feel bad, just remember not everyone is a bad person.
