I have a nephew and two neices, their parents are going through a divorce, the mother truly has some mental issues....this is seriously not just a vent or accusation....Well she leaves my brother like every year.....this has been going on for twelve years...She leaves if any male gives her attention or if any of her family members are low on money. The reason behind on the money issue is when she ends up at their house she goes and gets welfare and of course child support and hands the money straight to her mother...which also has some major mental issues, but to get to the point of this post. The mother of these precious children is letting her 16 year old brother beat on my 12 year old nephew with hammers, pvc piping and many other beatings he is going through....everytime he complains his mother or grandmother do nothing....When they told me of this I went crazy...but I had to stop and think to do the right thing...so I call dcs and make a report, they confirmed they would call me back when they did an investigation...well when I heard nothing the next day I called them back....come to find out they routed this case to another county.....even though I told them my county three times....well then a few of our other family members called in and once again the day after that still no investigation,,,Then we get a call from my nephew saying the 16 year old broke his thumb and bashed his head into a table....my brother calls 911 and takes off to where the kids are by the time he got there the police had already left...so he calls 911 again and they come back out and stated that they find no physical evidence and that the 12 year old got an attitude with them....my brother stated well if your head was bashed in wouldn't you have an attitude, well then the police state that they werent going to do anything because its just a teenage thing.....geeezzzzz I can not for the life of me figure out what is wrong with our judicial system....geez zzzz its a shame kids have to die or become physically and emotionally scarred before they are helped....so just keep these babies in your prayers because God has the final say anyway......

Jan. 24, 2008 at 11:27 PM i know exactly what you mean about the judicial system. when i was 14 my dad beat up my 17 year old brother because he was defending me. my 12 year old brother called the cops and because my big brother was on probation they threatened him and didnt say a damned thing to my dad. i still have a younger brother and sister stuck with him and i cant get them out!

Jan. 25, 2008 at 10:52 AM Something has to be done!!! I know just as well as you do that Tessa dont even want those kids. She just keeps them for the money! Maybe she needs her head beat in. She does not deserve those kids...or even to have the title as a Mother....she is not a mother!! A real mother would not let anything happen to her children..... She should go to jail for neglect!!! you know that if that was me or you, we would have been put in jail the first time somebody called the police..... I think she just gives mothers a bad name!!!!
