My husband, the perpetual rock star, has now decided that he's all about being a dad.  Nevermind that our children are already 3 and 5.  So now that family is his new hobby, he's decided that we should have at least one more child.

He didn't lift a finger with the 1st or the 2nd, so why is he asking for a 3rd?  BTW, he's still the first to leave the house in the morning and the first in bed at night.  That means he leaves all the childrearing to yours truly, not to mention all the cooking, the food shopping, most of the cleaning, the laundry, the social planning, and the bill paying.   There's a s***load more, but that's all that comes to mind.

In his defense, there is that occasional half-hour when he plays Playstation with the boy...

Jan. 24, 2008 at 11:45 PM Sounds like my ex-husband. Don't do it if you don't want another one. If he ever leaves you trust me you will be raising them all by yourself. GOOD LUCK

umm...yeah, i read this a few days ago, was too furious for you to respond politely, but that's worn off now.  So hmm.  I think you leave him, the 2 kids, and a list of has to be done and go visit college buds or to a conference or something.  that oughta be good enough birth control to send him to a vasectomy.  otherwise, say something like oh hey, this needs to be done, i know you can do it, THANKS.

I wish i'd heard this b4 i got married, but i didn't--and here goes:  never do ONCE what you aren't willing to do repeatedly for the rest of your life.   ain't that the truth.

let us know what the parent in the household decides......
