Why did I get it? Damn Placenta

Why do I have placenta previa? I fyou look up all the factors that lead to it  have had none.....I am slowly coming to terms with it.....I guess I have no choice. I do not want a  c-section...yeah I have heard they are no big deal and what not but it IS not what I want......I have anther ultrasound April 3 when I am about 28 weeks or so....I get to see Kevin again which is amazing but I am so afraid of what else we will see.....All I guess I can say is WHY WHY WHY,........

Jan. 26, 2008 at 8:23 PM I also had it, but was able to deliver 2 vaginally and the last one csection but for other reasons. Maybe yours will correct itself.

Jan. 26, 2008 at 8:25 PM It seems you are still early in the pregnancy (if u won't be 28 weeks til April)...anyway, the placenta can still move and you may not require a c/s.  Good luck.

Jan. 26, 2008 at 10:33 PM I was diagnosed with complete too. I was told it was highly unlikely it would correct itself - well it corrected itself and I never had to be on bed rest. I just had to be really careful during my pregnancy. I did end up having a C-Section but that was because my stubborn daughter was breech and refused to move!
