As a way of touching base with folks, I'll be posting weight loss tips a few times a week.
Today's tip is
GET SUPPORT!
With the beauty of the internet, you can find support just about anywhere, from free sites to those that cost more than $50 a month. It just depends what you need to make YOU the most successful.
I've run a weight loss support group online for almost a year now, and I will tell you have having that accountability and one on one attention has been crucial for me and many of the members there.
I am also an online coach for Million Dollar Body, and have *gasp* been known to refer people to the club which costs $2.99 a week. I know, I know... who thought of this crazy idea? Asking people to give up around 43 cents a day for personalized meal plans, workout ideas, recipes, exercise buddies and personal attention from their coach?
I'm not saying the Milliond Dollar Body Club is only thing out there. It's one of the most affordable plans I have found, compared to The Biggest Loser club which is 19.95 a month, Weight Watchers at $30+, and many others. It's also backed by a company I respect, whose products I have used myself for years.
I get a lot of emails from people every day. These are folks who want to know how I have lost the weight, how I can help them do it too. And many times, I refer them to the Million Dollar Body club. I do this for a few reasons. One, a lot of folks have no idea where to start, what to eat, what calorie range they should be in, etc. One of the perks of the club is the meal plans with REAL FOOD,and information about proper exercise.
The foundation is there, and as a coach, I can help my people develop a plan that will take them even further, or assist in picking the perfect work out program.
It's wonderful, it's cheap, and a great place to find support.
Now, many of you are saying this, I have heard it alot, and I will be honest, it's an excuse I have used before.
"I can't afford it"
No matter how tight my budget, how hard those pennies are pinched, I can find $2.99 to dedicate to my health. And so can you, if this is the route you want to go.
How can you find $2.99 a week you didn't know you had?

Eating Vegetarian one night a week, instead of a meat based meal - Saves $5.00-8.00

Giving up one morning latte at Starbucks - Saves $4.00

Setting your thermostat 1 degree cooler in the winter, 1 degree warmer in the summer - Saves $10-20 a month
Skipping one extra value meal every OTHER week - Saves $6.00
So, it's there... if you're ready to take the next step.
