My heart aches

My heart aches tonight for a dear friend.  A friend who is a wonderful mother to two beautiful girls and has been through a lot in the last couple of years.  I ache tonight because she had a miscarriage and there is nothing I can say or do to bring that baby back.  I know how much that baby is loved and will be missed.  I know my friend is sad for her loss, but I pray that she holds tight to her faith and knows that her sweet baby is in heaven smiling down on her.   I wish I could be there to hug her, but I hope she knows that my thoughts are with her and if I could, I would be there with her now.

Jan. 30, 2008 at 1:45 PM You've always been a sweet, thoughtful and caring friend.  I feel for any mother who would have to cope with such a loss, but there was a quote I heard in a TV series I used to watch, "Some people are just too good for this world", and I think that holds a little bit of truth.  Some (even little people) are already worth heaven.
