Packing and Trashing

So I am taking a break from what I should be doing right now, which is Packing.  But I am so sick of it, and I just started, so I thought I would get my vent out and then do some more.

I am currently working on the kids room, which has not been cleaned in awhile.  The clothes that I hang up were all down on the lower bar, and the girl I babysit for tore them all off the hangers and threw them all over the room.  lol side note, my son just walked in his half clean room (e is 2 and a half) and is now gasping and saying "what happen" over and over... lol so that shows you how long the floor has been gone in there!

Anyways, I am not saying my kids are perfect, however they no the limits and they no that they will get in trouble if they break the rules, so they play with toys and when reminded put them away.

Abbey doesn't know the meaning of the word no, I am scared to go to the bathroom with out putting her in the crib so she can't get in to anything, but I feel bad doing that because then I feel like I am caging her all the time.  I am pregnant so I use the bathroom a lot.  lol

So since starting watching her about 4 months ago she has pulled half of the sideways blinds down that cover the sliding glass door in the kids room, pulled out all the clothes in the dresser and taught my son how much "fun" it is to do so.  So keeping clothes in the dresser is next to impossible.  She never puts toys away, and I think it is unfair to have my kids clean up after her, and she just messes things up in general.  I can handle kids who make messes and misbehave now and then, but her parents do nothing to discipline her and she is just a hard to handle kid.  I am glad I won't be watching her anymore, it is too stressful. 

Anyways, so I am finding all sorts of garbage while I clean, having to refold pretty much everything my kids own, and of course my daughter who is one and a half wants to help.  lol So much for organization.  I was doing books in one box, clothes in another, toys in another, but that is hard to do with her tossing things in faster than I can sort.  lol they always help when you don't want it.

I am planning to throw away a BUNCH of old toys, sort through clothes for the things that no longer fit and pack in a way that will hopefully be super easy to unpack.  OK, well this was a pretty pointless blog, but I feel better...

Someone tell me why a clean room is like a magnet to kids?!?!?!  My kids are in there, they rarely play in there anymore, with the door closed and playing... lol I hope they aren't unpacking things, I guess I better go check!
