I have had such a great month, and it has a lot to do with this great site!

I love having my morning coffee while reading my PMs and seeing what my friends are thinking and doing lately in the "recent activities". I like to wander around the cafe while DH takes the first homeschool shift (we found the day goes much smoother if I have an hour or so in the morning to wake up...lol).

I REALLY love the "bulk" feature...I have a confession... I can not stand those chain letters, old jokes and sappy stories that show up every day, forwarded endlessly despite the CafeMom policy forbidding such action. I hate that superstitious twinge I get when I delete it, but at least most of them don't say Horrible things will happen if you do not forward it to 10 friends RIGHT NOW. I have always maintained that if I forward this to my 10 friends, I won't have them anymore after awhile (and honestly, there have been times, especially right after I had my first baby, when I didn't HAVE 10 friends to forward it to, and THAT was a Horrible thing to realize on a daily basis.

But I digress - the month has been wonderful in many ways, chief among which is that I met a wonderful friend here at the cafe, who has joined me in the mission of helping others. Chatting to her on a daily basis has been wonderful, and I love helping her reach her goals.

With the $1 promotion, I have been very busy. Many people have inquired, and I haven't gotten though them all yet, so if you are interested and have already sent a request, feel free to send me another PM - the squeaky wheel and all that :-)

and friends, feel free to join my group Get Well Soon

there, i will welcome my new customers and talk about the triumphs and harrumphs of the month :-) but also it is a place where you are welcome to say hello, ask questions and see what you can do to get well soon :)

I think teachers should get twice as much as they do!! I couldn't imagine working with 30 kids!
