Make sure you tell your children to NEVER give out their phone number online! If you put your phone number into google.com, it'll give all your information: name and address. They will even give a map to your house. Click on that, and you can get a live photo of it!!! It doesn't work on unlisted numbers (we tried it on ours), but when we tried MIL's, up it came. And we got a view of her house, neighbor's house, etc. That's so scary! All it would take is a pedophile to get your number to have really bad consequences.

Feb. 1, 2008 at 7:53 AM You can ask google to remove it. We own a Tree service with our home phone as the secondary line BUTwe removed our personal listing. All you see know if you google our number is our ad.

Feb. 1, 2008 at 7:56 AM I tried it but it did not work for me. and the map quest showed our house in the wrong spot. About 15 miles off of where our house is. Good thing about living out in the middle of no where.

Feb. 1, 2008 at 8:12 AM yes, it is scarey. but when i did mine, it only showed up my phone #, name, and city with zip. no address was listed. and on the map, it just shows the area, not my street or house.
