There is a mouse locked in my laundry room right now, but more on that situation in a second....

We are snowed in today.  Didn't go to work because all the patients cancelled, so my little Owen and I get to spend the day together, yeah!  Well, all is going go, Owen and I are playing in the living room.  Then I hear this high pitched screeching sound coming from the kitchen and just in the doorway I see three cats following something.   OMG, I know I know, it's a mouse!!!  AHHHHH, yuckers.  So, me being the scardy cat that I am and having 4 useless cats, call my hubby at work.  I tell him, "There is a mouse in the house and the cats have chased it under the stove.....PLEASE COME HOME AND GET IT OUT OF HERE!"  Needless to say, the mouse is still here and my hubby is still at work.  What happened to my knight in shiny armor....oh wait he doesn't exist anymore....BLAH!!  He does, however, tell me to take towels and put along the stove so the mouse is trapped.  So, I reluctanty put Owen in his high chair and place like 10 towels around the stove.  So, Owen and I go back to playing in the living room, cause daddy is super smart and he knows that the mouse is for sure trapped now!  YEAH RIGHT!!!  So, like 15 minutes later I here this screeching again and see the cats coming into the living room following this little black turd!!!  AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!  I pick up my son and stand on the couch yelling and carring on, mind you my son thinks this is funny and begins laughing.  So, the cats chase the mouse under the entertainment center, into the entry way, and then I see it go into the laundry room I quickly slammed the door shut!!  Well, all is good now, Owen goes down for a nap.  And, I'm picking up the living room and I can hear this Mouse screeching and the cats trying to get it.  But, it sounds like the mouse is trying to get out under the door, so I pull the door really tight!  But, I can't stand here holding the door for another 3 hours while I wait for hubby to get home!!  So, I go an get the tie from my rob and hook it to the handle and pull really tight and tie to to another door!!  Problem solved for now.  Whewwww!!  I can still hear the cats chasing it in there, but I'm definately not letting them out until my hubby gets home!!

So, here I am now, telling my story.  I know it's just a mouse, but OMG, I've lived in the city all my life, never had mice, yuck.  Now we live in the country, and we've had a couple incidents, but always taken care of quickly.  But, I've never been alone when I find one, it's yucky and scary!!
