Feb. 1, 2008 at 12:21 PM Try letting her sleep in her car seat. My son slept better in there because he wasn't flat and the pressure didn't build up in his ear when he had ear infections.

When they are that little with an ear infection, it is hard for both you and them......the want your comfort, and you get soooo tired! But it will get better.....if you have to pee, then out her down and go.....if you want to take a moment to eat then try a pacifier, sucking may help her pain level.........above all else, if you ever feel like you cannot handle the crying anymore, PLEASE PUT HER IN HER BASSINET, CLOSE THE DOOR AND GO TO A ROOM WHERE YOU CAN'T HEAR HER AND CRY OR SIT OR WHATEVER YOU NEED TO TO CALM YOURSELF DOWN. EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO SIT OUT FRONT FOR 10 MINUTES DO IT. They can sense your frusration and that can amplify their being upset. So try to calm down and that will help her to calm down soon. Also, if you really need a break, call a friend to come over for about an hour to relieve you, and you take a walk, shower, go to the grocery store or something..........I hope it gets better quick for you!
