Don't you just wish that everyday was the weekend?  I sure do.  I really love it when my hubby is home and we can do things together as a family.  Now don't get me wrong I do enjoy going out with the girl's for coffee and getting out of the house by myself to go shopping every once in awhile, but I am so glad when  Ben walks in that door at 4:30 on a friday night.  The kids are sooo excited to see him, and of course I am also.  Speaking of Ben walking in the door.  I just heard someone come into the house and close the door, of course I am downstairs in the basement with Gabbie watching a movie and Shelbie is upstairs taking a nap.  So I go upstairs to see who is in my house and I can't find anyone.  I don't have anything in my hands (just in case it is someone breaking in), and Ben comes walking out of the bedroom.  I about peed my pants!!!!!!  I asked him what he was doing home at 11:45 and he said that him and a couple of friends were going to Bestbuy on their lunch so he needed to get his Gift Cert.  AHHHHHH  I told him next time he does that to tell me it is him so I don't crap my pants!!  Anyways, I hope that everyone has a great weekend.

When I'm in the kitchen I never hear my husband walk in the room.  I've warned him not to be so quit because one day I might have a knife in my hand and that won't be good to come up behind me. LOL

Hope you have a great weekend too!

Feb. 1, 2008 at 1:25 PM I actually know someone that who had a man walk into her house with her not knowing. She was doing day care and it was winter time but the sun was shining so she opened the front door to let the sun in and she had a dad who was on his way to pick up. Well the dad showed as the same time as the police were knocking on her door. The police were chasing a criminal and followed his footprints to her house. So the dad picking up went with my friend to look around and didn't see anything unusual. So they were talking upstairs all the while the police and their dogs were outside checking the backyard and garage. The dad picking up didn't feel comfortable without looking one more time so he went downstairs to look again and looked in a bedroom and saw a foot coming out from under the bed. He pretended he didn't see anyone and went back up stairs to help my friend round up the kids and put them out on the deck and to get the police. Needless to say everything turned out okay they got him. But that happened her in Rochester in a decent part of town! Isn't that crazy! I'm glad it was just Ben! Lock you doors!

Oh for goodness sake Ben!! I would of crapped my pants to Tara! When we were having poepl work on our house, I was always freaked out in the morning, cause they'd come in the garage door, and all of a sudden I'd hear someone talking or saying my name !!! Aaah! Can't you men just come in the front door like normal people!!??!

Angie your story is just plain scary!!

Feb. 2, 2008 at 7:45 PM      I live out in the sticks far away from anybody or anywhere.  People never come up my driveway, I never get unexpected company.  I have a huge, deep-bass voiced Akita guard dog plus 3 other dogs that would never let anyone near my house without me knowing it.  And I still keep the front door locked when my son & I are home alone.  Paranoia?  I don’t think so.  Just cautious; I don’t like being surprised.
