So as y'all know, I was one of the lucky people selected to receive a HP all-in-one photo printer!  In return, I was asked to do to projects from the HP activity center.

Now, I consider myself to be a generally creative person.  But with the HP Activity Center (www.hp.com/go/activitycenter), I'm able to use their projects to build my creativity!  I searched through all the various options.  All the projects are neatly categorized:  Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, calendars, cards, party decorations, iron-ons, stickers, there's no limit to the projects you can do!  Simply pick the general idea and you'll see the most popular projects, and a quick click takes you to see all the others. There are so many awesome projects, the hardest part of using the activity center is picking which one to do!  Each project comes with easy to follow instructions, which makes them virtually foolproof.  I really like that each project notes about how long it'll take, how easy it is, and what you'll need to complete it.  You can figure out if you have the time and resources to do it before falling in love with the project, only to realize you can't do it :)  Users can also rate the project, so you don't have to waste your time on a project that nobody likes.  However, I don't think I've seen a project get less than 4.5 out of 5 stars!

I finally settled on a second project - an artistic can wrap.  Everyone has cans at home.  My pantry is overflowing with them.  I open one, do something with its contents, then toss it.  I know, I know...I should recycle!  Now, I can.  I rinse out the can and let it dry.  Then, I print out one of HP's can wraps and spread a little glue on it and wrap it around the can.  Voila!  You have a beautiful container to keep just about anything in.  I've put it on my desk and use it to keep pens and scissors in.

Now that I've got a couple of projects under my belt, expect me to be spending a lot of time exploring the hundreds of remaining projects!  Guess what everyone's getting for gifts this year?  Yep, you guessed it.  HP projects made by the partnership of the HP activity center and my super sweet printer!

Oh, and before I forget, here's a picture of my new pen and scissor holder :)
