Not just a hat rack my friends

Update: 2/1/08
I made it to my drs appt this morning.  Well everything seems ok.  The doctors says that I have in fact "opened up", but he feels that it is more likely due to this being #3 and so close together.  He says that I still need to rest and drink my water, but with a few restrictions I can go back to my normal life.  He has oked me to go back to work on tuesday.  I think right now I am jsut confused.  I am not sure how to feel.  On Wednesday they were so worried about my cervix beginning to dilate and today, it seemed like not a big deal.  He took me off of my bedrest (yippee) and will see me again in 4 weeks.  I am still cramping some, but nothing like Tuesday.  So I still plan on taking it easy for the rest of the weekend - doing no more than I absolutely HAVE TO!  I am still scared, mostly because they terrified me Wednesday morning.  I don't want to risk anything but maybe everyone was just over protective.  I feel kinda stupid now, but I was really scared Wed and Thurs.  Anyway, I just pray that I am able to carry the baby to full term.  Thanks for all the prayers, I think I am gonna go lay back down for a bit.  Thanks for everything!

Feb. 1, 2008 at 2:39 PM I replied in your group too, but wanted to say something here too.  I have and still will be sending prayers your way for a healthy baby.  Just know that if she does decide to come early, this does not mean she will not be healthy.  Josef was a VERY healthy premie, thanks to the wonderful mds I had. It sounds like you have a good OB too, they know what they are doing-you just do not over-do it.  Prayers and (((momma))

Feb. 1, 2008 at 3:03 PM I think the doctors have a tendency to scare you for a bit and then make it seem like every thing is A-OK. You are doing everything right, stay resting....you can't be too careful. I know you will carry this baby full term, I will pray for you too.

well i know of women from my church group that have gone 2+ ms dillated to 5 cmm and had normal lives otherwise...they get check in closely but otherwise if there's no rupture of the membranes and nothing to indicate labor of any sort, you can hang out with the basement door open for quite some time...Now when your bag opens and your water leaks out then there's a risk for infection but i will pray toGod that you stay safe and none of that happens!
Maybe look at it this way...it's less waiting time at the end of the road, cause doors will be wide open...no?

I'm very glad to hear you are doing oK otherwise!
