When I found out I was pregnant I was about 5 weeks along and had my first prenatal visit that same week.  Well ........... at that time I was fine; just excited about being a first time mom..... No sickness at all,  but starting at week 6 that all changed.............. I have puked everyday, several times a day  for the last 4 weeks.   I can't keep anything down at all.  I went to the doctor's yesterday and was told that I had not gained any weight at ALL since becoming pregnant and that my BP was a little high.  She prescribe this medication that she said would help with the sickness and said that it would be more effective in suppository form.  She also said "you needed more calories at this point I don't care how you get just get them, even if you order a baked potato with extra sour cream or have a big bowl of ice cream"  I have always been on the small side, I'm 27 years old and the exact same size I was in high school TEN YEARS AGO. Between the fact that I haven't been able to keep any food down for almost a month and that I am naturally thin I am having trouble gaining weight.  I have tried to eat more, for the sake of the baby, but it seems that nothing stays down.    Hopefully things will be better in the weeks to come.
