Its been a fun transition between learning how to be a mommy again and then learning how to still be Harmony.  The old Harmony is still here, its just that that person comes second to my little one.  A friend of mine was asking "Why is it that people change so much when they mom?  Whats so special? Why do you love being a mom so much?!"

And I thought about it, I asked myself those same questions...

But now I can confidently answer...

I love Alexander, everything about him is amazing.  He's so curious about the world around him so watching him watching everything and everyone else is great!

I love waking up with him looking up at meh smiling. In fact, I love all his smiles, especially those huge ones that take up his whole face.  Or when he smiles and then shoves his fist in his mouth (its cute *lol*).

I love hearing him coo and 'talk', I love laying on the floor listening to music while he kicks and giggles next to meh.

I love the way he smells, he always has a hint of everything on  him, but normally he smells like Eileens house mixed with baby shampoo.  Its a very baby smell.

I love knowing that he loves meh back!

I love watching him grow and change, every day theres something slightly different about him or hes discovered how to do something new.

I love blowing raspberries on his tummy and watching his face go from confused to excited all at the same time.

I love breastfeeding (yeah, how much have I grown up *lol*),sitting there with him watching him eat and then smile every time he looks up at meh breaks my heart just a little more each time.

I love reading to him.  Since I Do all the crazy voices hes always looking at meh, waiting until I change into a new voice.  He seems to enjoy that. :)

But most important, I love the fact that being a mother makes meh want to be a better person, and not just for meh... BUt because I want him to be greater than I am, so I need to set the bar high!

And I look forward to every day that I get to see his little face! :)

Being a Mom is one of the most joyous experiences in the world.  Cherish every little moment....they grow so fast.
