Ok, so I have been out of the house for week since my separation from my husband and am now looking for a job-talk about disappointing. I didn't think it was going to be so hard to get a job here in AZ as a chiro asst but there isn't jack sh*t here just a few that are part time and on the NW side it ,wouldn't even be worth my travel in gas for those jobs! I'm getting a little worried since I have some bills that are due real soon. I am trying to stay positive though but it's hard especially when you have a 2 yr old and we all need things. Hopefully there will be better luck in Sunday's paper. Thanks for listening ladies!!

Feb. 1, 2008 at 4:26 PM Hey there blueyes,

Been there, done that and I feel for you. It's hard enough when it's just you, but when you have kids it's alot more. Are you on speaking terms with your ex? He should be helping, at least with your child. Have you tried a local church? Many times they can help financially and with gas, food etc. It's sometimes awkward at first, but they are so kind and understanding and many of them have been in your shoes. I wish you the best of luck in finding a job. It's pretty sewn up here in west Tennessee too. They just laid off 125 people from the largest local employer. You may have to take a menial job until something in your field opens up.

Feb. 1, 2008 at 4:48 PM We are on speaking terms and he does help with our daughter he's actually very helpful. I live with my mom so I do have help in certain areas like food and things like that. But I want my own $$$$. I was thinking of looking for any kind of job for the time being. I also checked DES for help in child care but you have actually be working for their help(who knew) I didn't since I've never had to put my daughter in daycare until now. I just want to SCREAM!!!!!!!
