Ok Last night I was reading a post where people were showing their homes. It was suppose to be a fun post but can you ever really have a fun post on here when some people have no tact. I mean some people were being silly and I understand having a sense of humor but some people were down right rude. Its OK to be proud of having nice things but there is this one mom who always post about how much bigger and better her stuff is. I have seen her do this in many different post. Some examples would be her saying can you believe the average American only spends this much on Christmas I spend that much per child.......my house is the biggest on the block..........people are always saying that my stuff is fake because they are jealous. It is just irritating. I am not jealous of anyone's stuff, I realize she isn't speaking directly to me because I never commented but how shallow can you be. I love to look at other peoples homes and their decorating. I love my home its not the biggest on the block but its not the smallest. I would love to live in a bigger home someday but its gives me and my husband something to work hard for. I am not jealous I just do not think that you material items should define you as a person. What is wrong with just saying this is my home I love it. Why is it that people feel the need to say this is my home it is the biggest in our town? You know one mom on the post actually put down peoples homes, and these were actually nice homes, and then turned around and posted pictures of a home from a real-estate web site. What? Why? What happened to just being a good person? Be happy with yourself and what you have. Don't put other people down to make yourself feel better. Have some tact.

You mean the people with the most stuff DON'T win??? Dang it! LOL

You know, I have no problem with people being proud of what they have, and what they've accomplished. But there is a fine line between being proud, and being ridiculous, you know?

Feb. 1, 2008 at 4:50 PM I completely agree. It's OK to be proud of what you have. Everyone should be proud of the things that they have worked hard to get but come on just have a little tact about it.
