So I must live on the most selfish cul de sac on Earth-
what did you think a Circle Jerk was?
and it's only taken me 16 years to figure this out, dumb shit that I am.
There are 5 houses on it, and one of them runs a business out of their house.  Not 24/7 but nearly. These people know us, probably the best of anyone on the circle, cuz I have talked to them the most.  Our girls were even friends a long time ago (it seems in a galaxy far, far away now, since their girl has gone way over to the dark side-in my opinion*). So they know our situation, in particular about my dear boy.   After years and years of having to stand on the corner in all kinds of weather, for all all kinds of lengths of time, this year I finally have a bus driver who will bring him up to the house.  Only 9 times out of 10 the road is cluttered with cars, due to the home business.  So then the bus will pull up as far as possible and then has to back down, (yes we're on a ****in hill) watching the traffic behind, etc.  Full size bus.  So today the driver is doing this, it happens to be a substitute driver, and another 'circle jerk' comes speeding around the side of her, passing on the right, so she can pull into her garage. Now this woman ordinarily pulls in and then walks out and gets her newspaper from the box, then closes the garage door, but today, I think since she knew she sucks, she closed the door the second she was inside...Or maybe because she knew I was watching? Whatever. I have said hello to her before, only to be blown off, so I consider her unfriendly anyway.
But back to the business owners....I know there is no reason I should think they would care to leave the circle clear for the bus.  I know they've seen incidents of my son's worst behavior before.  I've looked up during attacks before and seen the man standing out in his driveway. The wife knows his diagnosis, I've told her myself.  She's always been really friendly to my face.  I have no reason to expect she would curtail her business for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, in order to  make it easier for me or my bus driver.  But I live in my cul de sac too, so that makes me a 'circle jerk' and I am selfish as well.  I want the bus to be able to drop him without shit.
Speaking of shit, how about their 2 little dogs that run loose throughout the neighborhood leaving it everywhere??? Oh, well that really hasn't anything to do with anything...but yeah. If each customer of theirs picked up one pile as they arrived for their appointment though, the circle would be kept clean.  They park all over, the dogs crap all over, it could work right?
I mean really, 2 1/2 hours a week to keep the circle clear...considering the rest of the garbage I have to put up with in life I don't think it's that much to ask.  Just look at me.  You can see, I have no car, no job, my house is rather run down, I'm fat so I obviously have an eating/self esteem issue, my husband works long hours, and then there's my son's special needs.  Those are just the things that can be seen by watching out the windows...there are probably countless other things that you would consider unfortunate about my situation, if you knew them.  Can you really not cut me a ****in break where the bus is concerned?
Just think of all the times I stood on the corner like a ho, when it was single digits or snowing, and the bus was 40 minutes late.  Or maybe all the times I stepped in your dog's crap, that should be some sort of penance.  Meh...none of us owe each other anything. Screw it.

I figured that you lived in a culde sac......

Anyway, start collecting the dog poo and then deposit it on their door as one of the customers are coming up to the door. That is what I would do, but then what the heck I am just a b*tch like that!! lol
