In Diamond's whole 15 months  she has only asked to watch her 3 times ..and even though we only live about 3 minutes apart she only see her about 1 time a month ..When my older kids were babies she watched them almost every Sat night ... But she also knows with Diamond we really dont leave her ..She hasnt been away for the night or for the day either ... But we was over there tonight ,hubby ,son and Dad in the garage working on Scott's car ..and i had to go to a meeting ...AND MY MOM SAYS SHE CAN STAY HERE .... I left my Baby for 1 hr with my mom ..She didnt even cry and i was about to cry when she waved bye to me ... And she was a good girl while i was gone ..Am so proud but yet am hurt ..Does that make Sense ?

Feb. 1, 2008 at 10:00 PM Oh friend yes it does make sense!  We don't want our kids to cry when we leave, yet when they do... it makes us feel loved.  It makes us feel like we are the only one our child wants to be with.  Yet when they stop crying for you, it makes your bond feel less important.  I unfortunately have to work out in the field.  My children everyday are like Mommy I don't want to go to Janets (my daycare provider).  I tell them that Mommy has to go to work.  Yet when I take them over there I have TO ASK them to come give me a kiss.  It is like Mommy doesn't even exist anymore.  It is hard leaving your child yet missing them makes it worthwhile when you come home.  Don't worry Tweety even though she was a good girl doesn't mean she didn't miss you!  You are her Mom and that Bond can never be broken!!!

Feb. 1, 2008 at 11:24 PM Yeah, reminds me of Kristin's first day of school this year, she cried when I left and I was so sad but the second day I walked her in and she was like "bye mom"... she didn't care that I was leaving. I was so happy not to leave her crying but still... I can totally relate : )
