She was an ANGEL when she was born. We had trouble with eating at the hospital. Eventually, we all caught the hang of eating. Got home, wonderful. I had her on the perfect little schedule, doing everything right, I was thrilled. Then, she threw up a whole bottle of Similac Advance - and that was the end of perfect baby. Schedule thrown off, she was piece-mealing every hour to two hours, then about every three bottles or so, she'd throw that up. So, I did what every new mommy does and call the pediatrician. I switched her to Similac Isomil Advanced. Thought it was all better. How wrong I was.

Fast forward to now. She's almost a month old. She's still on Similac Isomil Advanced. I'm giving her infant gas drops. She only wants to CRY. CRY CRY CRY. I give her FOUR ounces, she drinks it. Catnaps for 45 minutes or so, wakes up wailing. I know this has to be colic. I am overwhelmed and stressed and confused and upset and I DON'T THINK I CAN DO THIS BY MYSELF ANYMORE. Her father is not in our lives.

After waking up every hour from 5 AM until 10 AM, when i put her on my tummy and we caught a two hour break, I realize that IT IS NOT FAIR. I HATE HIM and I RESENT HIM and I WISH THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER.

I hate to admit it., but I wanted to throw her through the window. She was crying, I was crying, so that probably made her cry more. I wouldn't throw her through the window.

I'm at my wits' end. I've got two weeks left of maternity leave. I don't know how I'm going to be able to go back to work with her like this. I can't stay up all night with her then work nine hours, repeatedly. But, I don't have any other choice. I have to go to work, I have to make money to support us.

Anyone have ANY more suggesting for colickly babies? We've switched formula, gas drops, swaddling..

 HELP, please.

Have you tried Nutramigen by enfamil? I know it work great with my son. I also got told to fed him with him at least at a 30 dregree angle so stuff couldn't come back up and to  hold him upright for a while after he eats. He was puking constanly. That and until he got used to the new formula to feed him like an once and then burp him and feed him some more. and then slowly work into larger amounts.

He also got diagnosed with acid reflux and the Nutramigen seemed to help with that. Let me know how it goes. You can msg me if you want and I can give you some mroe detailed info on what I got told. Hope you get things figured out soon!
