Searching for a legitimate work at home business, is like looking for the perfect job. There are many out there, but you have to know where and how to look.  I feel for those of you who are looking for a legitimate way to earn money from home.  The endless stream of ads is incredibly daunting.  After all, they ALL say they are the best.  There are a lot of options out there for good, legitimate WAH businesses.  What is most important, is that you look for one that suits your needs.  Here are just a few things to consider when deciding what to do.

1. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE MONEY - Keep in mind that all legit businesses will have members who can boast a success story, and that's wonderful.  However, don't let the income potential alone be your deciding factor.  If you choose a company that doesn't match your interests, preferences, or abilities, you're probably going to be disappointed with the results.

2. DON'T LOOK FOR THE EASY WAY OUT - Any legit home-based business is going to require you to DO something, whether it is selling a product or marketing for the company.  Be wary of any biz that claims you don't have to put any effort forth.  Remember, it is a business, and a successful business does not come without putting forth some effort.

 3. DON'T LISTEN TO ALL THE HYPE - With any company you are researching, research it thoroughly.  Check out the company's website, their record with the BBB, awards and recognition, etc.  Keep in mind though that with any company out there, there will be people who have had bad experiences (usually people who were unsuccessful at establishing a business with the company).  These people are quick to criticize without admitting their own fault, so be careful whose opinion you take into consideration.

4. KNOW AHEAD OF TIME ,WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO DO - If you already know that you are uncomfortable speaking in front of crowds, do you honestly think a company that requires you to do in-home parties is your best option?  There are so many options...if you look hard enough, you are bound to find something that works for you.

5. THEY SHOULD OFFER SOME SORT OF MENTORING. These companies want to make money. In order to do so, they need to help you make money.  If the company sends you an ebook and leaves you to fend for yourself, you most likely have signed up for something other than a legit work at home businesses. Without mentoring you will most likely fail. You need some assistance so you can properly understand the work at home job and what you need to do to be successful.

Credible work at home businesses have clearly drawn out instructions about the tasks you will need to perform. They provide resources to help you succeed, and there is someone you can contact to ask questions. They will not leave you hanging. If you are in a work at home business and you’re feeling lost and very much alone, you may not be working with a legitimate online company.

Yes, I currently have a home-based business.  I absolutely love what I do and would be thrilled to share it with any of you who are interested.  Let me first tell you some of my background and what influenced my decision.

After I became pregnant with my first child, I knew I wouldn't want to go back to work.  So...the search to WAH began.  I looked and looked.  I came across many "product" based opportunities, but I know I'm not the "selling" type.  I kinda gave up, and just focused on my son.  Then, when I was pregnant with my second child, I realized that the money monster was going to rear its ugly head (being that now we have 2 kiddies to feed, diaper, clothe, etc...) and I needed to do something.  That's when I happened upon what I am currently doing.  I chose this opportunity for the following reasons.  One, I LOVE the SERVICE that my company offers. Two, the work I do is done from home via phone or internet (no time away from my family).  Three, I get paid daily, and I also build residual income (meaning that I get paid over and over again, for something I did just one time...and the income potential is limitless.)  Four, I am so proud of the company and what they stand for.

No, this business isn't right for everyone, and I'd be lying if I said it was.  However, it is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a viable option.  You can trust me to be honest and give you the facts without "selling" you or pressuring you into something that isn't right for you.  Feel free to visit my website at and request an interview online.  I'd love to chat with you!
