I am no where near being a religious person at all, I haven't been since I was a little girl. My parents are not religious people, I just didn't grow up going to church every sunday.  But as I was looking at my sisters blog tonight, she had a posting about President Gordon B Hinkley (she has become a very religious woman, that I very much respect)  She had a few quotes that he has been known to say but the one that hit me hard was: "TRY A LITTLE HARDER, TO DO A LITTLE BETTER" I don't know why but it hit me like a ton of bricks reading this...this is very achievable for everyone.  I believe anyone can try harder to do better...and that's exactly what I'm going to do...at whatever I do on a daily basis...why not do it better than I usually do?  Why not try a little harder to be a better person?  The last year or so I've really been trying to find myself as a woman...mother...wife...human...just finding myself and trying to figure out what it is I want to do with my life...who I want to become and set some goals to help me get where I'm going...and I finally feel like this quote will help me...it's just so simply stated...I just had to share.  Thanks for listening!

Feb. 2, 2008 at 3:45 AM Hi! I agree. Our country would be a happier, healthier, more peaceful and productive society if we tried harder to do better (religion not having anything to do with it). I think that in our standards have become very low.
