When I was young, I was put in a school for retarded kids for two years before they realized I actually had a hearing loss. And they called ME slow!

Good Morning!

Since I am writing this and it is still dark outside, I don't know if it is going to be sunny or not. Being in the midwest, things are pretty wet, cold and snowy. So, I wanted to serve you all something warm and filling. We will be serving this to you at brunch but I am including the recipe so you can make it when you get home!

"To Die for Crock Pot Roast"

1	beef roast, any kind
1 (1 1/4	ounce) package dried brown gravy mix
1 (1 1/4	ounce) package dried Italian salad dressing mix
1 (1 1/4	ounce) package dried ranch dressing mix
1/2	cup water

1. Place beef roast in crock pot.
2. Mix the dried mixes together in a bowl and sprinkle over the roast.
3. Pour the water around the roast.
4. Cook on low for 7-9 hours.

This is being served with homemade bread, tossed salad and delicious sweet fruit. I hope you all enjoy the spread today. Now let's read some Garfield!

Feb. 6, 2008 at 11:56 AM Many of us are allergic to all those additives in the packaged products. Is there a recipe that uses real food like onions, salt & pepper added to the pot roast that doesn't take much time?
