Watson Blvd is freaking dangerous! You can't even stop for a light! I was stopping, and the SUV behind me had just gotten new breaks and she said something happened with her gear when she hit the breaks it just kept going... right into my rear end, pushing me into the car in front of me. All I heard was a BANG and felt a jolt as I was pushed forward... at first I just sat there, then once the shock wore off I started freaking out worried about the baby. No bumps or bruises or pain. My head and shoulders jolted forward, but I didn't hit anything inside the car or even have the seat belt catch to cause any damage... no air bag deployment either (Thank God- those things do more harm than good half the time!) AND PRAISE GOD the baby sitter called me that afternoon to ask if my son could stay all night, so he wasn't even in the car with me. Baby has been kicking just as much as normal. We did have a paramedic comes (turns out he was an instructor at CGTC as well!) and check me out just in case! I'm going to move my Doc's appt on the 14 to Monday if possible just for her to check the baby. The EMT's checked me- blood pressure was normal (shocking seeing as I was so shaken up) and again, no pain anywhere. I know God protected us. The back end of my car doesn't look bad right away (her front end on the SUV was TORE UP- I gotta strong Lil car!) But the bumper is pretty dented in and will have to be replaced, and the trunk doesn't work right so they'll have to bend it back. I have a SMALL dent on my front end you can't even see, and there was no noticeable damage to the car I was pushed into. The lady that hit me felt terrible and was really nice and helpful and said she'd be in contact with her insurance to take care of anything... we have to go Tuesday to get our copy of the Police report, and Monday I'll be contacting our insurance company to report it... at least our rates won't go up since I was in NO way at fault. *Whew.* But we definitely didn't need this right now... my car is drivable, but driving makes me nervous right now so I'm going to avoid driving til I have to... lol and I'm avoiding Watson from now on! I have another way I can go home with less traffic- on Friday I get off earlier, and since I didn't have to get DS and it was so much earlier in the day, I didn't think Watson traffic would be so bad... wrong again!

Feb. 5, 2008 at 9:08 AM Yeah Watson is horrible.  It doesn't have to be rush hour for it to be bad especially if u are down near the Centerville end!
