First off I want to say thanks to everyone who has been praying... I have been so nervous and even though we still dont know much I do feel much better. I am not sure why, but I do!

Now on to what the Dr. said... she doesnt know what it is ... but finally a dr who makes sense! (I knew she would) She said with the pain she is having and how intense it gets it is obvious that there is something not quite right. And since her pain is in her bones, joints, head and eyes she is sending us straight to the specialist. So we are going to see a pediatric opthomalogist for some heavy duty testing of her eyes next week. And then we will also be seeing pedi neurologist as well as pedi rheumotologist in the next few weeks.

She was great! As I was explaining all the tests we had done so far, she said ok now we have results ... but we are not going to sit here doing more tests that might be unneccesary when we can send you strait to specialists in Oklahoma City who will do the right tests because this is what they do best. Why sit here and chase our tail like a cat for all these months! When she said that I was so excited she has been having the headaches for close to a year now and the other pains for the last 4-5 months... so I am really hating how badly she hurts and the wait ... wait ....wait game. I just want her better.

Feb. 2, 2008 at 12:08 PM Glad to hear she is getting the help she needs. Can I ask what doc she seen down here and where they are sending her in OKC. I take my kids to a doc in lawton and we also went to some specialist in OKC and the OU medical center. My youngest has a syrinx on her spine. Basically it is a fluid filled sac on her spinal cord. It is not affecting her in any way right now but could later on in life. The only way we know it is there is because of a HUGE blood blister on her back in the same exact spot on the outside. But the weird thing is, is that they are in no way connected in any way physically or medically. I am here if you need to talk.
