Kids Are In Shock
Well just call me a mean mommy.I broke today.I am tried of my kids not helping especially when I don't ask for much.So I got out paper and markers and made charts.I have made a list of household rules and a list of things they need to do.If they do what is on them they each get a sticker under their name. After 15 stickers they get a reward.

First time in trouble is removal of a sticker.Second is timeout and third time is losing something for 2 days.

Sorta 3 strikes your out.I will not spank my kids.I believe we can get it done without resorting to that.

And I am explaining this too my kids they are looking at me like I can't believe she has done this. They are having a little fun with it though. There is already a race to see who can get the most stickers first.

If you have anything negative to say about this post don't bother. You don't see what goes on in my house and what happens everyday.I am tired of my kids running around like little indians and want to teach them some responsability.

God job!! I love my daughter's chore chart. I actually bought it at Target. It came w/ stickers. Her "punishment" is pretty much the same as your's!!!!! She has figured out she LOVES roller skating, so that is one of the big things we try to do on Saturdays. As you can see, I'm on here, and not skating

Feb. 5, 2008 at 11:26 AM I feel your pain...having 5 kids running around like crazy wild maniacs is not easy! My kids have chores too and they know what behavior is not allowed..My oldest has managed to save enough between birthday money and all to get his Nintendo DS and he's so proud. Good for you!
