Yesterday, being Friday, my sister and I were going to do a little shopping.  We decided to meet at the mall.  I hop into my car - purse, cell phone, and ipod in hand, and head out.  I plug my ipod into my stereo, and go through town picking and choosing my songs for the day.

Something you might need to know about me is that sometimes, just sometimes when my kids aren't with me, I don't listen to music that is, um, shall we say G-rated.  Some of the music I choose is a bit naughty, and would make my mama say, "what does that mean?" if, of course, she can "understand a word they're sayin'".

Anyhoo, yesterday, being a bright, sunny, cool day Michele (that's me) had her windows cracked while driving to the mall.  I get to one of the busier intersections of our town, which just happens to be a college town, and have to stop at a red light.  I tend to not look around much at red lights because if someone's looking at me I feel the urge to keep looking back at them, and then it just gets weird, so I stare straight ahead.

Back to the stroy, as I am sitting at said light I happen to be not only listening to, but singing, and dancing to one of my naughty girl songs, "London Bridge" by Fergie.  I can't help it.  I love Fergie, and I love this song.  Anyhoo, a little bit into the song I happen to catch, out of the corner of my eye, this car next to me (a silver mustang).  The passenger in it (a college guy) is laughing his head off.  His window is cracked and he has his cell phone in hand.  The driver sees me, and tries really hard to stop laughing.  I motion for the passenger to roll his window down, and this is how our conversation went...

Me:  Hey there!  Are you laughing at me?

Him:  Yes, ma'am (minus one for calling me ma'am, but score one for good manners).

Me:  Ummm, did you make a little video there on your phone?

Him:  Yes, ma'am.

Me:  That's nice.  Should I be embarrassed?

Him:  Yeah, probably so.

Me:  Well, I'm glad I could entertain you.

Him:  It's okay.  You're hilarious!  Really, it's fine.

Me:  Well, I'm glad you think so.

We sat there chatting for a second, and my phone starts to ring.  Well, where do I keep my phone when I am enjoying my music in the car?  Yep, you guessed it, in my bra!  So, while I'm talking to this nice young man (the driver couldn't speak, only laugh), I proceed to pull my phone out of my bra, and say, "Sorry, I've gotta take this, but y'all have a good day, and stay out of trouble."  They said goodbye, and we all rolled away.  As I was turning into the mall, though, they did honk and wave.  So, the chances of me and my bad self ending up on youtube, I'd say are pretty high!  EGADS!!!!!  Lucky for me, though, I was having a great hair day!!!!
