My 2 year old son was playing with my car keys this morning. My two older daughter saw him go upstairs with the keys we turned the house upside down but we can't seem to find they. Where could he have put them? I asked him to show my what he did with them but all he will tell me is that he doesnt know. Then later during the day my son broke a small plate trying to put it in the sink . He doesnt want any one to help him in what ever he dose but at the same time he can seem to hold on to anything. If some one tries to help he just has a fit. What can i do to stop this fits?

give him plastic plates that won't break. Make it easier for him to have the independnce he wants and needs.

and give him another set of keys to play with and follow him- maybe he'll take them to the same place...LOL.

Feb. 2, 2008 at 7:07 PM I don't know what to tell you about stopping his fits but as for the keys, check his toy box. My son took my hubby's wallet with $800 in it, just cashed his paycheck, and our only set of car keys. When he took the wallet I had no idea where he put it. When he took the keys i watched him and he put them in the bottom of his toy box. I emptied the toy box and found the wallet, keys and a few other things I was missing. Good luck.
