My Random Thoughts

Stuff about my crazy, chaotic life

My son and I are often stuck at home all day and I REALLY need some activities for us to do together. We watch way way way too many Disney movies LOL

We do the usual-- read books, play with his cars, etc. but my brain can only take so much ''vroom-vroom'ing" before I need to get away from the toy cars!!

We tried Play-Doh but he tries to eat it and it all ended up dried out or smushed into my carpet. What am I going to do with him?? I know he needs stimulation and I KNOW that he is not getting enough of it....

Remember.... he has a 3 second attention span....

Feb. 2, 2008 at 8:57 PM we would take the kitchen table, maybe a card table and cover them with blankets and make forts. we put the card table near the couch and chair (we reclined the chair to crawl under the leg rest too). we had quite a maze going on. you can put the kitchen  chairs in the living room too if you want. we had fun anyway.

Feb. 4, 2008 at 8:03 AM moon sand is a fun alternative to play doh-i got it for lily for christmas and i never dries out wont stain the carpet and you can build sand castels and stuff..it comes with molds too. I used to give the kids each a big plastic mixing bowl and some paper cups of ingredients and let them make something..like raisins and cheerios and marshmellows..chocolate chips..they liked to "cook" and then they could eat it after
