It seems they finally have enough proof to say that caffeine IS bad for pregnant woman. What I gathered from this article, avoid caffeine (coffee, soda) all together during the first trimester and as much as possible (one cup of coffee, five cans of soda, a day) during the rest of your pregnancy. Five cans of soda is a lot, I wonder what kind of coffee they mean? And what about caffeinated tea?

Feb. 4, 2008 at 12:34 PM I drank one cup of coffee OR one soda a day throughout all three of my pregnancies and my babies had no trouble invitro or outside in the world!! :0)  Everything in moderation I say!
