BoyOhBoyOhBoy!

The Ramblings of a Mom on the Edge...

I am not registered as a Democrat or Republican... I like my Independence. I don't align myself to a candidate based on party, I do so based on the person, the issues,  I'll be frank, there have been times in the past when I have not voted. I haven't felt I could make a difference. I haven't felt inspired by any one candidate.

But like many, I want our country to change. I hope for a better nation - for us and for our children and our children's children. I can honestly say that for the first time ever I feel inspired by a politician.  I see hope. I beleive that nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for a change.

(*small side note, I'd like to point out that Obama's speech writer is 26 years old... twenty-six. amazing.*)

You may not agree with me on this. You may not see what I see here. You may not feel that this is your candidate. This may not be who you back.  You may not see what he sees for this nation. And that is fine. I am not here to debate politics with you. That is the joy of this country, we can agree to disagree.

BUT... if you WANT A CHANGE...  I am asking you to make sure that you take advantage of the RIGHT & THE PRIVILEDGE TO VOTE! Don't be lazy. Don't be afraid. Don't think that your one voice does not matter. It is one voice, combined with another voice & another voice & another voice that gets us the power of a million voices.

Read up on the politicians, learn what they are about & what they see for our nation.  You can click HERE to CNN and educate yourself on the policies of our nation.

Find a candidate that inspires you. Find one that inspires you to believe they will lead this country to be better than it has ever been.

It's as easy as registering to vote, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. And take the 20 minutes to vote for your next President.

Be the change you want to see in the world. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
