I really didn't know to put the title as.

I just wanted to say something that I surely haven't said in a long while.

Today my family and I went out for dinner to a new restaurant. We were pretty skeptical about it since we're not exactly fond of changing our regulars.

We we seated as soon as we walked in, and my first initial reaction was "wow, everyones old" Not in a bad way, just I hadn't seen anyone my age. Except the adorable cook.

Half way into dinner my daughter started choking. I was petrified! She had a fry stuck in her throat and she got it up. She sat still for a second, and than it came. This morning breakfast, and lunch, and I'm sure what ever else she had eaten, from what it looked like, in the past two days, came rushing up.

I was soo stunned and scared. I just sat there. I felt so bad. Not only for Alexis, but for the people working there, and the people eating. My mom picked her up and I just sat there. I froze. It surely wasn't the first time I had seen puke before, but I just froze.

When I finally moved, I started walking with my mom and daughter to the rest room to clean her off, and some lady stopped, took some napkins, and started to try and wipe off the throw-up. When we were done, we sat back at the table. The lady asked me if I was okay. She assured me that things were fine, and that stuff like that just happens.

I felt so much better.

I just wanted to thank that lady for being so kind. (Which I did) and remind everyone that it's okay to offer your help, and it's okay to be nice. It doesn't hurt! It just might make someone feel better! (Who'd a thunk it!)

Feb. 7, 2008 at 1:39 AM        My son did the exact same thing to us a few weeks ago, including getting it all over me!  My dh absolutely freaked out!  He has always been squeamish about baby messes, but this put him over the edge.  Men are so silly; it’s just puke for heavens sake.   lol
