Well tomorrow we are celebrating my grandma Taylor's 90th b-day at her house. She is such a remarkable woman! She still lives at home, with the help of my mom who lives up the road. Whenever we visit she has a smile on her face and asks us about ourselves. My grandpa died 17 years ago and she has lived alone ever since. I know it must be lonely, but she keeps herself busy with her friends, crosswords, sports games, gardening and bird watching. I hope that I live as full of a life as she has. She was born weighing only 4.5 pounds! She says they put her in a box with cotton under a lightbulb. She changed her weight to 6 pounds in her baby book because she thought 4.5 was just too small. She was a nurse in WW2 where my grandpa was a pilot. She has lived on boats, in little towns in the middle of nowhere with 6 feet of snow, on farms and in cities. Everywhere she has gone she has made friends and made others happy. I hope that I can live even a fraction of the life she has lived. Happy 90th Grandma Taylor! I love you! You will be a great-grandma again in May to baby Matthew!
