So i couldn't keep my first daughter in the womb, now I can't get this one out. lol! I felt for most of my pregnancy that I would have this little guy/gal early but here I am at almost 41 weeks and not a sign of labor in sight. It must be really comfy in there! Well, if it takes a little longer to have a healthy babe, so be it. My mother asked me if I was miserable and done being pregnant and I said no, so she said the baby isn't coming anytime soon. : )  If I do hit 42 weeks, I will go check in with the local midwife to check everything out, but, from where I'm sitting, everything is going well. The only thing I have to complain about is the constant "Contractions??!?" question I get anytime I answer the phone or call someone. Like I wouldn't tell you? lol. My daughter is the most impatient of all " Come out baby!!" and " Push it out mommy" are her favorite sayings at the moment. That and "but why?", I was wondering when she would find out what "why" meant and ask it constantly. She does. And I love it. It shows such a curiosity about the world and how it works. I would worry if she didn't ask why all the time. I wish more adults asked why and confronted the norms. Sometimes adults just need to be more like 3 year olds. Ask questions, question authority, stand up for yourself and beliefs, be able to make games out of boxes and find uses for the ordinary in extraordinary ways, enjoy life and it's day to day norms.

" Push it out mommy" oh that is just too cute! You'd think it would be the other way around, 2nd one out sooner than the first.... but you can't say you blame him/her- it's so warm and cozy in there- and mama is right where she is needed :)

baby blessings,

Jill
