A child's onesy sewn into a crib sheet; yarn, which appeared to be used to strap down a baby's legs and duct tape all found inside the home of a little boy who's story touched many people's hearts.

10-month-old Aiden Waller is fighting for his life at Memorial Health after deputies say his mother, 19-year-old Tina Richards, abused him. However, this isn't the first time deputies have been called to check out Aiden for abuse.

The first documented case of abuse was recorded July 20th 2007. Aiden's grandmother Kimberly Kellam called the Effingham County Sheriff's office to report that her daughter, Richards, had abused Aiden. Deputies documented that Aiden did have a severely bruised right eye, that he looked to be sedated, and that he had several small bruises on his arms that were purple in color. The judge sentenced her to five years probation and according to Kellam lost custody of Aiden.

Then around Christmas Eve 2007 Kellam says a social worker gave Aiden back to Richards. Less than a month later on January 21, 2008 deputies were called to Richards home again. This time Aiden was hurt so badly he had to be flown to Memorial where he is still listed in critical condition.

Joyce just got a call back from a lawyer she was looking into. She is going to have them setup a trust fund.
