Confessions of a SuperMom

I'm not perfect. But they sure think so.

what am i doing...or not doing? i am not sure why but my son is a farting machine. is it cause he's growing? or just always moving? he's not big into vegetables right now. he drinks milk and eats yogurt but in moderation. but it seems like every half an hour this kid is whailing off! it's 1am and i just passed through  his room and he farted - in his sleep!

what the heck? is this normal?

what's frightening is that he announces it.. even when we are outside. and if he hears a noise that sounded like a fart that wasn't him, guess who he accuses?!

ME! - embarrassing.

It is NOT a boy thing!! lmao  My 4 year old does it and thinks its the funniest thing on earth! She can be talking a mile a minute, poot, and grin this huge! grin and say "I farted!"

My 5 year old burps. Like a grown man. Like a grown man that just shotgunned a beer. Loud!  And she LOVES to drink milk because she figured out that if she drinks it really fast, it produces awsome burps.

 My beautiful girls.....So

LOL.....  you are too funny Chastity!!  I love the suggestions on naming it something else.  I have two girls, my oldest is 4, and for the most part, hers are silent but can kill a fly.  LOL!!!

A funny story....  The first time she actually realized what a fart smell was, she was a little over 2 and we were hanging out in her room building her new bed.  So I let one pass that you couldn't hear but the smell was horrendous!  Sorry Ladies, LOL, I'm being completely honest here!!!  Forgive me....  Innocent  And she says, "Ill mom, did you throw a fart?"  I bursted out laughing and practically in tears!!!  It was the funniest thing!!!  LOL   But I'm very open about farts, in private though haha, and often times say "I have a present for you" and let one pass.  Hahaha   I love to have fun with my girls.... we make a big joke out of it.  LOL

I agree with Cpace:  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! :P

Right on!      Tongue out

OMG!! Every single one of you who had comments about farts, had me cracking up laughing. You ladies are crazy!! I like the idea of using a code in public because when my DH let out some, you will not hear the last of my son (6 y.o), he announces it to the whole world and no matter how my Hubby tries to quiet him up or ignore him, that boy just won't stop and too see that frown up lip curled up expession it is just too funny. I always walk away laughing after scolding my husband too keep his distance from me until the smell has disappears becuz the smell always seems to follow and I am not trying to smell that!!

Dec. 31, 2006 at 12:19 AM Lol, I have a 5 year old son, and I WISH he would only fart every half hour!!!  It must be a guy thing.   The worst was when we were accompanying my husband on a business trip to Florida a couple of years ago.....we were waiting for the plane to take off when he stood up in his seat and announced "I FARTED!!!!" at the top of his lungs, in front of my husband's boss, co-workers, colleagues, and everyone else on the airplane.  Boy was I embarrassed!
