So, most of us have kids and I am sure some have chosen to Breastfeed.  Well, I have been told multiple times that the "let-down" is a tingle sensation that may tickle or go un-noticed.  Hmmmm!!!  Not on my life...  for me even now after 5 months it is still a fairly un-comfortable very noticeable event.  At least i get a heads up before i may leak all over the place...

Feb. 8, 2008 at 5:35 PM to me it's more like a heavy weight...almost a pulling sensation...definitely doesn't tickle.

Feb. 8, 2008 at 5:38 PM With my oldest, I never once felt a let down in the 13 months I nursed him.  With my youngest, if I paid attention, I sometimes felt something.  I don't even know how I would describe it.  Mostly I noticed that my milk had let down when I started hearing swallowing.

Feb. 8, 2008 at 5:42 PM It was a tingle with my 2 kids UNLESS I was too full, then it would hurt. But those days are long gone for me now!

Feb. 8, 2008 at 6:41 PM Oh how I remember the let down. I had a very strong nursing instinct. I'd be in the supermarket with my son or daughter in the cart smiling at me. Hear a baby crying an isle or two over and woosh! My boobs were hard as rocks. I had to wear nursing pads until my babies were about 7 months. LOL
