Today's Caucus!

I went to the caucus today.  It was so much fun.  It turns out that I am in the largest precinct for Democrats in my county so it actually took 3 hours!  I went in undecided and came out....undecided.  I honestly like both of them so much that I couldn't make a decision. 

For those of you unfamiliar with WA's system, the Democrats get all the delegates from the caucuses.  The problem is that we also have a primary (who knows why, since it doesn't count).  There were 10 of us who held out as "undecideds" so that our delegates will be able to vote for the person who wins the primary.  It just doesn't seem fair that those who are unable to attend the caucus, but still vote in the primary do not have a delegate.  Today I was elected as their delegate, so in April I will be attending the County caucus to present our case.  It will be interesting I am sure!

I am so excited.  I am learning so much about the way the political system works.  I'm kind of in a daze at the moment.
