So I took my 9 year old best friend to the vet Saturday to get a lump looked at on his leg and they said that they're 98% sure that it's cancer. They usually would be able to just remove it and he would be able to make a full recovery but because of where it is they are unable to do that. They would have to do the removal and chemo. It would run me around $2000. This may be just another animal to some but this dog has been my companion when no one else was there, been there for me throughout both pregnancies even when hubby wasn't, just been my life line. I don't know what to do. I guess I'm going to take him to the oncologist and see what they have to say...and while I'm at it say my prayers for my little weenie dog, Junior.

Awwwwww, he'll be ok!!! I'm sooo sad for you. I have the same dog. Mine is a pit bull though. His name is Romeo and he's about 10 y/o. Just like Junior, he's been through everything with me. He's starting to slow down alot and it makes me nervous......I'm going to cry now.....I hope Junior will be ok.
