Endrometrial Ablation UPDATE

Has anyone had this procedure?  Looking for  feedback on this procedure. 

I will be having this procedure on thurs 2/14.  I am starting to get nervous and am even beginning to doubt my decision somewhat.

***WELL....it looks as if I'm one of the unlucky ones.  Mine is not a sucess story.  Went back to the doctors on 10/17 and just had another ultrasound.   I have to go back on 10/31 to talk about results and options.  *****

Feb. 12, 2008 at 10:36 AM Yes, I had this done 2 years ago.It didn't work well and I had to have a hysterectomy 6 months later.  But actually, I wish I had tried a second ablation instead of having the hysterectomy.  Anything specific you want to know?

Hey there! Remembered that I chatted with you once about an endometrial ablation. I had mine done april 30th. My bleeding is MUCH better compared to before, but... I have noticed I am MUCH more sensitive inside there now than I was before. Kinda hurts a lot of times when me and hubby get intimate. Did that happen to you?

Hi!!  I found your profile while "doing laundry" and your post about endometrial ablation popped out at me.  I had an the ThermaChoice Balloon Therapy on October 20th.  The healing process didn't go too well and I'm still having problems.  I ended up with a uterine infection.  So far, I am one of the unlucky ones also.  My doctor is waiting 3 months to see if things change and then she wants to discuss a hysterectomy.  Feel free to add me.  I'd love to talk to other mom's who have had an ablation also.
