My husband hasn't been the best friend a girl could have throughout the marriage.  He's done some pretty rotten things.  He's never hit or cheated on me....but the lying, and variety of other stuff still lingers in my memory day to day.  When he tells me something am I supposed to automatically believe him and trust him with everything all of a sudden?  Latley though, he's been showing me how much he really does love me.  He's been a little more considerate with getting certain things done, not staying out late every night, letting me have a little "me" time, etc.  This Valentines Day he went out and got me three cards, one from him and each one of my kids.  He also got me flowers, candy and took me to dinner.  He said he just wanted to spend time with me and that it was my night.  I've come to realize how much I truly love this man and that I made the right choice to stay with him and work things out.  He may not be perfect, but who is?
