My recent trip to see my honey Darryl........................................................

It was a wonderful trip to PEI to see Darryl- but of course it alwasy goes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too fast. The good things never last long enough it seems. We watched movies and he even made homemade chinese food, etc. Lemon chicken, Teriyaki and black bean chicken baked in the oven, curry stir fry ( my fav), egg rolls, a roaster full of chicken chow mein and rice pilaf. OMG I can't believe I met a man who can cook like this. We ate so much we could hardly move. I had a headache later and he even rubbed my forehead for me - awwwwwwwwwwwwww- what a sweetheart I have! He also took me to the drugstore and bought me new razors, haircolor, makeup, chocolate cherry cordial hershey's kisses, hairspray, and my fav magazine- Woman's World. He is the best! He also gave me money to get my haircut. Pretty nice Valentine's Day presents if you ask me. The best thing of all was spending time with him though. I wrote him a special poem, gave him several cards and valentines, and even made him a romantic cd. I gave him candies, chocolate, and handcuffs-lol- that said "Prisoner of Love"- for fun. He thought they were hilarious- didn't use them yet-lmao. I thought they would be a good conversation piece at least. He usually has to go back to work at his night shift job at a hotel sunday night but we got snowed in- WOO HOO-lol. The one time I think in my whole life I was happy it snowed. We snuggled in bed and watched movies and ate popcorn. Very nice. I love Darryl very much and try to make every second count because we only get to see each other once in a while these days due to this " long distance" relationship thing. Difficult- but oh so worth it. He also gave me a very mushy card with a poem inside- " All I need is you" is what is says on the front. He is so sweet and romantic. I tell him all the time he is my very own live teddy bear- he just laughs. Loves to clean, cook, he's romantic,smart, and a very hard worker. No wonder I am keeping him-lol. He also sees me for the person I am inside- the "real me" that some people who are superficial don't take the time to know. They broke the mold when they made my honey. I am so lucky to have him- we are lucky to have each other. I am writing this on Valentine's Day and yes I did have a point where I cried a little because I am away from him on this special day. I am however, thankful for the fantastic time I spent with him last weekend and keep that close to my heart. I love my honey so much- he is the best!

Feb. 14, 2008 at 11:44 PM You are the best! I have tears in my eyes not because I am sad but because this is a very beautiful love story my friend. He is a keeper and I am quite sure Darryl knows that you are a keeper my friend. The gifts he purchased for you were so perfect because they were things that you liked, things that you needed and things that you just wanted...AWESOME!!! I am so happy that you have someone like him because you deserve for someone to love you fof exactly who you are...a WONDERFUL person! It must feel good to be loved for the person you really are and not who someone wants you to be or become. I am glad that you guys have each other, you were made for each other. I know it felt very sad to not be with him for Valentine's day but you are in each other's hearts and that is priceless. I pray for the day when you guys can be together forever. Until then just hang in there because that day will come. I loved this post it was perfect for Valentine's Day! I love you girl!
