Since my eighteen-year-old granddaughter moved in with us three weeks ago, I have been obsessed with making her life change for the better.  Since she is overweight (240#), I am so careful about what i have been buying at the grocery store to help her have a better diet than she was used to eating.  Now that she is enrolled in the school here, I am obsessed with checking her homework to be sure she has done it and done it correctly.  Her grades before moving in with us were very poor.  Since she has been in school here, it is like she has a fresh start and a new life and attitude.  We want to keep it that way.  Currently she is an A/B student with the exception of geometry, with which she is struggling.  The new school is far advanced from where she was.  I am obsessed also about the way she dresses.  She is getting a whole new wardrobe, one outfit at a time.  Each week I buy her a new one.  That will stop when I think she has enough for a full week of school and church clothes.  I feel like all of these are good obsessions to have for the right now.  I want to get this young lady on track so she can have the best life she is capable of having.

Hey,

Great obsession for you to have! I would love to meet her one day.  I haven't been doing much of anything other than working on my flowers. I hope to get most of them finished finished this weekend.

I think it's great what  you are doing for your grand daughter!

Hope to see you soon!

Marty
