Beth is about 19 1/2 months old and I've been wanting to start training her for some time.  I just got the potty tonight, and I hope it goes well!  I'm going to try to have more patience than I had with Jill, but I can't wait till she's in panties and I don't have to buy diapers anymore!

Feb. 16, 2008 at 2:57 AM Good luck. Corbin just started showing signs that he might be ready a couple of days ago so I will be potty shopping in the next few days.

Feb. 23, 2008 at 8:12 PM Good luck!! We have a potty for Alyssa and she'll play with it and sit on it, but doesn't do anything... but we're not pushing her to use it since the baby will be here soon and I don't want her having too much change in her little life. But good luck and give me some advice on what worked well and what didn't for Beth!

Apr. 8, 2008 at 12:21 AM I had to make a "treasure chest" to get my boy to go potty in the toilet. I filled with lots of goodies. It worked too! Now we use it for the other kids as well when they do something that is above & beyond the ordinary.. such as extra chores or exceptional behavior.. etc..
