Finding a roofer

Well one thing that Ken and I have never done is actually look for someone to do some work on our house. Ken is the ultimate handy man and we never needed to. Ken fixed the roof on our garage last summer now we have to do the house this spring. Hopefully in March. It is kind of steep and Ken really does not have the tools to do the house so we are going to have to pay someone. Yuck! We have called some for estimates and still have not heard anything back yet. I'm a little nervous because I don't know what to expect the cost to be. Hopefully not too much. I wish we knew some roofers or had some in the family. Then we would at least know they would do the work and get it finished. Thats always a fear that they will not finish and take our money. Oh well we will have to trust.
