My 4 1/2 year old son said the sweetest thing to me tonight...
We were watching the second half of Polar Express. We watched the first half last night but my son was too scared and wanted to turn it off. So we watched the rest tonight.
My son and husband and the cat were sitting on the couch, so I sat on the love seat. After several minutes my son came over to me and cuddled with me. As he climbed into my lap he said, "I came over here because I didn't want you to be lonely, Momma!"
He amazes me with the tender things he says.

Awwww! Enjoy those moments! My daughter will be all excited about going somewhere with my husband or I and then before she heads out the door she'll stop and say, "I'm sorry you'll be by yourself, mom/dad!' She too cute. She's 10 now and still very lovey-dovey! Have a wonderful day!
I love when our children do that. My son is like that. He gave me a hug yesterday because he said I looked like I needed one. They are our precious angels sent from above. I thank God for them.
