This wasn't online, it was home for Christmas - everyone, all of the kids, their spouses and families for the first time in a decade!

My six-year old granddaughter hadn't seen her Uncle Jimmy since he'd joined the service last year. When I asked if she was going to say hello to him and give him a kiss, she said, "I can't - that's not my Uncle Jimmy. Uncle Jimmy has hair and doesn't have a wife so he must be a stranger and I can't talk to strangers."
